What is FGA/DGA ?
Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) founded 1908, is one of the world's oldest and authorial origination in gemological education & research. Since 1913, Gem-A launched the first FGA diploma examination and honor FGA Diploma to students who pass the exam. Since then, the Diploma and Fellowship are renowned and recognized worldwide for their professional and scientific status.
The Hong Kong Institute of Gemmology (HKIG) taught FGA course since 1983 and is now one of the Gem-A's education centres in Hong Kong.
Gem diamond diploma (DGA) is a complete course on diamond's grading both in Theory and Practical from Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A).
